Hatha Yoga Classes

Hatha Yoga with me is not a fast flow class. I teach at a steady pace and talk you through the postures so if it’s your first time you can follow and if you are more experienced you have space to take things further if you wish.

  • Every class includes movement and postures to increase mobility, strength and balance.
  • I will encourage you to notice and use your breath while you move and when you are still
  • We begin and end the session sitting or laying for a guided meditation and breathwork so please bring a blanket to roll up and give you support or to keep you warm.
  • Please bring your own mat or I can lend you one for your first class – just let me know in advance.

Supported Yoga Classes

Are you hesitant to join a yoga class, worried about keeping up? Perhaps you’re returning after a break, or find certain movements challenging due to old injuries or mobility issues. This is an opportunity to practice with extra support and attention to transitions.

  • Unlike chair yoga, we will be on mats, but a chair will be available for balance, support and ease during transitions from laying, sitting and standing.
  • Feel free to bring your own props such as straps or blocks for added assistance.
  • With a maximum of 7 participants, there’s ample opportunity for personalised attention and adjustments.
  • You’ll follow the same class plan as our regular sessions, with modifications tailored to your needs.
  • We begin and end the session sitting or laying for a guided meditation and breathwork so please bring a blanket to roll up and give you support or to keep you warm.
  • Please bring your own mat or I can lend you one for your first class – just let me know in advance.

Relaxation & Guided Meditation

Wednesday evening…

Spend one hour in a peaceful, safe place where you can focus on just one thing at a time. This  session blends together mindfulness practice, breathwork and Yoga Nidra. You need no experience only a desire to be open to the experience of ‘doing nothing’ and the benefits it can bring to your body and mind.

  • I will guide you through short meditations you can either sit of lay down. We then move into the Nidra or full relaxation, laying down.
  • I vary the content/theme of each class but always with the same structure and objectives.
  • Please bring your own mat or I can lend you one for your first class – just let me know in advance.
  • Please bring a blanket to roll up and give you support or to keep you warm. If you are not used to sitting or laying on the floor you may want an extra one to lay on.
  • Finally.. please note the location is not silent.. you will be able to hear traffic and people outside but this is part of learning how to choose what we drawer attention to. In reality we rarely find absolute silence so lets learn how to use the space and the time have in the real world…

Thursday lunch time…

An opportunity to reset your day and pick up some useful techniques for every day life.

  • We begin at 12.30, we will finish a few minutes before 1pm to allow you to pack up and leave on time if you are on the way back to work!
  • We’ll explore guided meditation, simple breathwork and practical mindfulness techniques that you can take away and use in everyday life.
  • You can sit on a chair, sit on the floor or lie down — whatever feels comfortable for you.
  • Please wear and bring whatever you need to feel comfortable – there are no postures or moving around to consider.
  • I will have a limited number of mats/blankets/cushions so please do book in if you can to guarantee you get a spot.
